About Marina High School

 

Marina High School, established in 2006, is a secondary school located in Marina, California. Our mascot is the Mariner, which was created by alumni Emilio F. Garcia from class of 2009. The school colors are navy blue and gold. The trident was created by alumni Jonathan Rodriguez from class of 2013. 

In 2011, Marina was recognized as one of the top 100 communities for young people in the nation. The student body is comprised of approximately six hundred students and is a reflection of the regions diversity of languages, ethnicity, nationalities and cultures. 

 

Mission Statement:

 "At Marina High School, our mission is to empower and inspire students to reach their fullest potential, both academically and personally. We foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that nurtures intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. Through our rigorous academic programs, diverse extracurricular offerings, and dedicated faculty, we aim to cultivate well-rounded individuals who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and character to succeed in a dynamic global society. We foster a strong sense of community, promoting respect, empathy, and responsible citizenship. Together, we strive to instill a lifelong love of learning, enabling our students to embrace new challenges, innovate, and make meaningful contributions to the world."
