High School Student Poll Worker Program

Dear Students,
Monterey County Elections is excited to launch the Student Poll Worker Program for the November 3, 2026, Statewide General Election. Eligible students can now sign up to serve as poll workers, and we’d appreciate your help spreading the word.
This program gives students a unique opportunity to learn how democracy works by providing hands-on experience in polling place operations under the guidance of the Elections Department. Participants may choose to earn a $135 stipend or community service hours—making the experience both meaningful and rewarding.
