During this session, leaders review CORE Learning Integrity Walk Indicators and use the tool to conduct classroom observations. One of the biggest challenges in improving schools is the need for more consensus on what high-quality instruction looks like. Since classroom instruction is at the core of instructional improvement, a key part of developing an improvement practice is observation. Integrity Walks are classroom observations designed to assess the current state of the school’s curriculum implementation. During the walks,
teams gather data to determine trends at the school and district levels. At the end of the school year, data collected during Integrity Walks is used to develop Problems of Practice.
