We want to share with you that the California Student Aid Commission, together with the Legislature and Governor Newsom, announced that the state financial aid priority deadline has been further extended to May 2, 2024.
This is good news for our seniors and their families. Please find a news release from the California Student Aid Commission for further information.
As you know, MPUSD held a hands-on FAFSA workshop to assist students and their families complete the FAFSA. We hope to hold another session in April. In the meantime, you can always reach out to your counselor for assistance.
In addition, students and families can receive help filling out the FAFSA or California Dream Act Application at free Cash for College Workshops by the state. You can register for one of the state workshop webinars HERE and the dates are below.
